Life is a Dance, From One Stage to the Next...
So because I absolutely love NY and all the free shows that happen every summer, I made it my duty to see one after work today. But before the show even started, I was entertained by this man who had not a care in the world and wanted to dance for no reason. I had to share the video I recorded of him.. absolutely hillarious.
Enjoy...

But I Love Her...
AMY WINEHOUSE
Shes my idol! And although I know in my heart i shouldnt say that too loud or too proud, for people may think i idolize all thing negative (drugs, alcohol, making a fool of myself), but i cant help it. I absolutely LOVE Amy Winehouse. And the fact that she battles her inner demons so publicly is such a shame.
Her recent performance at the Rock in Rio Lisbon concert proves that she needs an intervention immediately.
Her obvious disregard for her career is making me extremely sad. Her music is the soundtrack to my life, and the fact that she can no longer sing those songs I love let alone create new pieces, saddens me.
This is the Amy i once adored and looked up to...
but i am now constantly having to see the 'current' Amy...withering away and slowly killing herself.
Its onlii fair that i share with you what i recently seen that made me dedicate this post to the one and only Winehouse, and that was her recent performance at Rock In Rio. Below are the videos of a once amazing rising star, on the road to failure...
Horrible. Embarrassing. Disappointing. and downright Ridiculous! I can onlii hope Amy looks in the mirror and realizes that she can get help..and its never too late for a change/intervention. As upset as it makes me, i will still always root for her.
So instead of leaving this negative imprint of my idol in all of the minds of my fellow bloggers, i will instead leave you with a lovely performance when she was still good... Enjoy!

Bust A Move
So as usual I stumbled across something interesting. These inmates in the CPDRC detention and rehabilitation center in the Philippines dance to choreographed routines. On their main youtube page it says that dancing transforms negativity, and i think its a brilliant idea. Here is my favorite video of them doing Michael Jackson's Thriller (by the way it may look like its a coed prison...but they're all men lol)

La Musique à Mes Oreilles (Music to My Ears)
What I'm searching for
to tell it straight
I'm tryin to build a wall
-SantoGold (Les Artistes)
There is a wave of offbeat artist that i am IN LOVE with... I was always the N*E*R*D fan walking around singing songs like "you cant be me im a Rockstar. im running on the top of a cop car" while everyone was looking at me like i was nuts. But finally this new wave of music (i like to call it Experimental Hip Hop) seems like its here to stay. An option to the regular shoot em up' style.
My Faves Rite Now:
M.I.A.:

Santogold:
Spank Rock (although kinda filthy, his tunes are most definitely catchy):

Kenna:

And of course my throwback faves:
N*E*R*D

O how i love mus♪c ...
